Returning a Product Purchased through MyScholarShop

  • Art of Problem Solving
    • What phone number/email should parents contact for returns?
      • Primary contact number for returns is 858-675-4555.
    • Once the returned item is received, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • It takes Art of Problem Solving about 3-5 days to issue credit for returned purchases after receiving the returned item.

  • Best Buy
    • How are in-store returns handled?
      • If it is within the first 14 days, the store can do an exchange or return. If the return is done in-store, the credit will go back into the parent’s account in standard processing time.
    • What phone number/email should parents contact for returns?
      • Parents can call Best Buy’s customer contact group or can email StepUpPLSA@bestbuy.com.
    • Once the item is mailed back, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • Once the item is received in the warehouse, and checked in, it should only take up to 48 hours for the credit to process.
  • Complete Book & Media Supply
    • What phone number/email should parents contact for returns?
      • Returns require prior approval and must be received back within 30 days of the original shipment date. Parents may contact Customer Service at customerservice@completebook.com (email preferred) or 800-986-1775.
    • Once the returned item is received, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • Upon verification of the returned item, credits will be processed within one week.

    • What phone number/email should parents contact for returns?
      • Parents may contact our Customer Service department M-F 8:30-5pm at 800-225-0248. They will need to ask for a Return Materials Authorization # and provide some basic info on what they are returning. They will also need to complete the return form found on our website at here. Parents will need to indicate that the materials must be returned against the Step Up For Students account, since the parent did not purchase directly through Curriculum Associates and do not have their own individual account within our entry/finance systems.
    • Once the returned item is received, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • If the item is received in “saleable” condition per our return policy found on the link provided above, it could take up to two weeks for the credit.
  • FlagHouse
    • What phone number/email should parents contact for returns?
      • Parents can contact Brooke Isakoff at 800-793-7900 ext. 7522 to start the return process.
    • Once the item is mailed back and received by the vendor, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • The process takes around 5-7 days. FlagHouse recommends that parents keep their tracking numbers so they can follow up.
    • Other notes:
      • To return or exchange merchandise, simply follow the directions on the packing slip enclosed with your order. To return items that were shipped by truck, please call 800-793-7900 x 7522. FlagHouse cannot accept the return of a software, bathing, hygiene, or feeding product unless it is in its unopened original packaging. Please understand that FlagHouse cannot cancel custom-made items in production, nor accept their return unless defective. A restocking fee of up to 20 percent may apply.

    • How are in-store returns handled?
      • Once the return is processed at the store, the scholarship account will be credited by the vendor within 10 business days.

    • Once the returned item is received, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • The parent’s account will be credited within 10 business days.
  • Office Depot
    • How are in-store returns handled?
      • Please do not return items to Office Depot retail locations, as their systems will not credit back your scholarship account properly. Parents should contact Office Depot’s customer service line (888-777-4044) to begin the return process.

      • Parents should call Office Depot’s customer service line (888-777-4044).
    • Other notes:
      • Most items can be returned in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase for a replacement or full refund.
        Exceptions:
         –  Furniture, computers and business machines with accessories in original packaging can be returned within 14 days after purchase for a full refund.
         –  Opened computers, business machines and software (with accessories and original packaging) can be exchanged for the same item within 14 days of purchase.
         –  Special order products may not be returned or exchanged. This includes items that are not stocked in one of our warehouses and/or are indicated as SPECIAL ORDER.

      • Parents should call School Specialty’s customer care phone number (888-388-3224) to initiate the return process.
    • Once the returned item is received, how long will it take to receive a credit back to the scholarship account?
      • The funds will be returned to the account within 5 business days.
