The company is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing talented and high-profile community and business leaders. These directors work to protect the public trust implied by our tax-exempt nonprofit status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and as a state-approved “Scholarship Funding Organization” under Florida Statute 1002.395.

The Board of Directors is the governing and fiduciary body for Step Up For Students. The eight-member board sets policy, develops and approves strategic plans and the related allocation of resources, and is responsible for the organization’s performance. Learn more about our members.
