BookShark is a complete, literature-based, homeschool curriculum. Our curriculum uses a variety of educational resources including literary fiction and nonfiction, biographies, illustrations, and hands-on experiments to deliver an engaging and complete education.
Our curriculum is easy for parents to teach. All the planning and preparation is done for you so you can enjoy learning together. We provide 36-week, 4-day schedules designed to save one day a week for sports, field trips, or other extracurricular activities. BookShark combines a proprietary History, Science, and Languages Arts offering with a wide range of math options to ensure you have everything you need for an entire year.
Return Policy
You have 30 days to review your curriculum after it arrives to determine if it is the right fit for you and your children. If you have any questions or concerns during this time please call or email us so we may address your concerns appropriately.
Returns will be accepted when received within 30 days from the date you received the curriculum in new, undamaged, and in resalable condition. Shipping costs are not refundable. Please ensure you pack the return properly to ensure you receive a full refund. Items damaged during shipping due to poor packing may not be refunded.
Packages are significantly discounted (All-Subject Packages are discounted 20% and Reading with History Packages are discounted 15% off the retail price). If an item within a package is returned, the package discount is voided and all items within the package (even items that are not returned) will be charged at the full retail price. Please contact customer service before returning individual items purchased within a package to ensure you know the refund amount. Call 1-866-668-0179.
Materials returned after the 30 days or in non-resalable condition will not receive a refund nor will we return these materials to you.
Digital purchases, like Virtual seats may be returned within 30 days of purchase. You have 6 months from the time of purchase to enroll in your Virtual seat and 12 months from the time you enroll to use the Virtual seat. Seat extensions (12 months only) are able to be purchased, please contact customer service.
Electronic media (CDs, DVDs, CD-ROMs, and Computer Software) that is not in the original unopened factory packaging cannot be returned.
Online Instructor's Guides are non-refundable.
Enclose a copy of your packing list (the original packing slip includes a return address label) or email order confirmation. If your order confirmation is lost, please include full name, phone number or email address and your physical address on the original order.
Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of receipt of your return.
It is strongly suggested that you ship your package by UPS or FedEx. Packages sent by these carriers are automatically insured for up to $100.
If the retail value of the return is greater than $100, we advise that you insure the package for its full value as you are responsible should the item be damaged or lost during the return shipment.

Return Policy
At Brave Books, LLC, we want you to have an exceptional customer experience and be happy with your purchase, but we understand if you need to make a return. We will accept Single-purchase items and merchandise with original packaging for returns within 72 hours of delivery. At this time, any books within a subscription purchase are not automatically eligible for a return and refund. If you are unhappy with your purchase or believe there was a mistake, please contact Customer Service at [email protected].
Important Return Notes and Exceptions:
- We are not able to make changes or edits to orders after it has been placed.
- Returned books or merchandise must be unused with the original packaging.
- Any item that has been used is NOT eligible for return.
- There is a $5 restocking fee on all orders.

Defective and Damaged Items
Upon arrival of your package, please inspect each product to determine if they are defective or damaged. If any of your items arrive damaged, please contact us within 72 hours from the time of delivery via [email protected] for a replacement or store credit to be issued.

Missing Items in Shipment
If you receive a package and there is a missing item, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery by emailing [email protected]. Please include the full name on the order, the order number, and the missing item.
Incorrect Item Received
If you received an incorrect item in your package, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery for a replacement to be issued. Please include your order number and a photo of the incorrect item.
Lost or Stolen Shipments
If you believe your package has been lost or stolen we will provide support via [email protected].
Free Giveaways and Promotional Items
All items claimed through our giveaways (Blitz promotions, Free Book Promotions, etc.) will be subject to a $4.99 shipping fee.
Any additional items purchased through a Free Book Promotion giveaway cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded. Please check your cart BEFORE final checkout to ensure any unwanted items are not included in your cart. All Promotional sales are final and non-refundable. S&H charges are nonrefundable.
Treasure Box Policy
Due to the limited quantities of the Treasure Box and the high cost of shipping, we will not accept any returns or exchanges on them. Return Policy
You may return any item within 30 days from shipping date for a full refund of the price of the item, if we receive the item back in salable as new condition.
- After 30 days, we will still accept eligible items (in new condition), but we will charge a 10% restocking fee.
- No returns after two months.
