My student received a different scholarship in 2025-26, but I wanted to apply for the PEP Scholarship for them for 2026-27. Are they at risk of not receiving one?
A student’s renewal status is tied to the scholarship program they benefited from in the prior year. If you are applying for the PEP Scholarship for a student who received a different scholarship in the 2025-26 school year, the student will be considered a new student for the PEP Scholarship. Interested families may still apply; however, we cannot guarantee that more scholarships will become available for the 2026-27 school year. Any new students who are found eligible and who accept the scholarship will be added to our “At Capacity” list and will be notified if a PEP Scholarship becomes available for their student. Please keep in mind that accepting the scholarship is how an eligible new student is placed on the “At Capacity” list and that additional requirements are considered prior to PEP Scholarship funding.
