All official communications from our organization are sent from a @sufs.org email address. We will never ask for sensitive financial information—such as banking details or copies of your debit/credit card—via phone call, text message or email. Banking information should only be submitted through EMA (https://apply.stepupforstudents.org/), our secure platform, if requesting a reimbursement.
Your privacy and security are our top priorities. When speaking with a Step Up representative, please note that we will ask a few verification questions to confirm we are speaking with the parent or guardian listed on the account. This is solely to protect your privacy and ensure the security of your information. If you receive a call from us and have a concern or question, you may end the call and call us back directly at 877-735-7837 to speak with a team member. We want to stress that we will never offer a gift card in exchange for personally identifying information during phone calls or any other communication.
