Ever wish your young historian could get real letters from George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, or Marie Curie? With Letterjoy, they can!
Letterjoy is a unique, screen-free way to explore primary-source history. Each week, your student will receive a replica of a real historic letter or telegram in the mail. In the same envelope, they’ll also receive a “postscript” article teaching them about their latest pen pal and letter.
Throughout their membership, your student will receive letters from a variety of eras and figures. Letterjoy offers a growing assortment of topics to inspire your student, no matter what they’re passionate about.
With our Great Writers collection, they’ll receive writing tips from Jane Austen, Arthur Conan Doyle, and other masters of the written word. In our American History collection, they’ll explore our nation’s history from the early days of the American Revolution through the dawn of the Space Age.
Through our Science & Innovation collection, they’ll learn about great scientific breakthroughs and the Industrial Revolution. Our Military History collection has letters exploring conflicts throughout American history through the generals, admirals, spies, and presidents who lived through it.
