My student was awarded the PEP Scholarship for 2026-27 but I no longer want it. What do I need to do?
Please review the following options and take the action listed.
INTERESTED IN THE PRIVATE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP:
If you would like to switch your student to the Private School Scholarship, please do not take any action in EMA. Simply call us at 877-735-7837 to let us know you’d like to request this change and we will help you through this process. If you opt to switch to the Private School Scholarship, your PEP application priority will be forfeited.
INTERESTED IN THE UNIQUE ABILITIES SCHOLARSHIP:
If your student has a qualifying diagnosis for the Unique Abilities Scholarship, you will need to decline your student's 2026-27 PEP Scholarship in EMA before you may apply for the Unique Abilities program. This is done by going to your 2026-27 application and clicking the “Decline Scholarship” link. If you decline the PEP scholarship, or apply for another scholarship program, your PEP application priority will be forfeited. Any subsequent 2026-27 PEP applications will be reviewed under capacity limitations and program deadlines.
NOT INTERESTED IN ANY SCHOLARSHIP THROUGH STEP UP:
If you are no longer interested in any scholarship through Step Up, please decline your scholarship in EMA.
