The Unique Abilities Scholarships vary based on a student’s grade level, county of residence and level of need. On average, scholarships are about $10,000. Students with a matrix score of 254 or 255 may qualify for significantly higher amounts, averaging between $22,000 and $34,000. Note that the scholarship amounts are established annually by the Florida Legislature in the state budget.
