Have questions about any unspent funds in your student’s account? We’ve put together a few answers to some of your “non-spender” questions.
Q: Do unused scholarship funds roll over to the next school year?
A: Yes. Unspent scholarship funds may roll over from one school year to the next, but different scholarships have different limits.
Q: What are the limits on how much I can roll over?
A: Under Florida law, here’s how account balance limits apply:

- FES‑UA Scholarship: Funds cannot roll over if it would raise the account balance above $50,000.
Q: When does my student stop receiving new scholarship funds?
A: Your student is no longer eligible for additional funding if they:
- Enroll in a public school
- Graduate from high school

Any funds received while your student was eligible will remain available in their EMA account.
