What type of documentation is needed to submit my proof of payment?
The following documents can serve as proof that the parent or guardian paid for the purchase:
- A receipt must include the complete transaction date (MM/DD/YY), and the amount paid.
- An invoice must include the complete transaction date (MM/DD/YY) and demonstrate that it has been paid in full. Demonstration that it has been paid in full includes a “paid in full” stamp, the invoice amount and payment amount, or demonstrating a zero balance.
- For purchases made with buy now and pay later services, parents and guardians will only be reimbursed for the amount paid at the time of reimbursement submission.
- Certain expenses require provider vetting by law. For these reimbursements, your receipt or invoice must include the provider’s first and last name. For more information on which expenses require provider vetting, please see the Supporting Documentation for Eligible Uses of Scholarship Funds section of your scholarship family handbook.
