Do you have questions about the Quarterly Attestation, or Confirmation, Requirement for the 2026-27 School Year? Below, we’ve put together some answers that may help you successfully navigate this issue:
What is the Quarterly Attestation, or Confirmation?
Beginning with the 2026-27 school year, parents and guardians of scholarship choice confirmed students must complete a Quarterly Attestation in EMA before each quarter. This confirms that the student is not enrolled full-time in a public school.
When is the Quarter 1 attestation due?
To be considered for Quarter 1 funding, families must complete the attestation by:
- August 15, 2026, for the August payment, or
- September 15, 2026, for the September payment.
Does completing the attestation guarantee funding?
No. Completing the attestation is required, but students must also meet all program eligibility requirements and deadlines to be considered for funding.
What if the student attended public school during the 2025-26 school year?
The student must be withdrawn from public school by July 31, 2026, to be considered for Quarter 1 funding. Families may be asked to provide documentation to verify the withdrawal or confirm that the student is not enrolled in a public school.
What happens if I do not complete the attestation by the deadline?
If the attestation is not completed by the deadline, funding may not be distributed for that quarter.
I completed my attestation already, and I am being asked to submit the attestation again. What do I need to do?
If you completed the attestation previously, your response may have been reset so please submit it again to ensure we have the correct information on file. Please be sure to resubmit your response by the deadline.
