No. Only one student is needed to be found eligible for the Transportation Stipend for the household. The student found eligible on the household's Transportation Stipend application cannot be approved for another scholarship.

No, each household can only receive one Transportation Stipend per school year if at least one student on their application is found eligible. To be eligible, a student needs to be enrolled in a public school different from their assigned public school.
No, students enrolled in virtual schools are not eligible to receive the Transportation Stipend.
EMA has recently begun updating student statuses with a new term: Scholarship Choice Confirmed.
This status means that your student's application has been approved and they have been determined eligible for a scholarship. However, this does not mean that your student has been funded for the selected school year. It simply confirms that they have been approved for their scholarship choice.
Reminder About Scholarship Choice Confirmed Notifications:
After a scholarship has been accepted, Step Up For Students will notify you by email when your student's scholarship choice has been confirmed. These notifications are sent on a rolling basis.
The Transportation Stipend is a one-time payment of $750 per household per school year. Disbursement of funds are to be completed by December 15, 2026.
