They do not have to go to their attendance school; however, the student must be present to receive the meal.

Mobile Food Pantries remain on same schedule but will be delivering pre-bagged food in a drive-thru. No one is to get out of car. Locations are varying slightly due to school closures so the locations will be continually updated on our website and Facebook

St. Martin de Porres 4711 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers 33907 – St. Martin is serving dinners in takeout only containers from 3-6 Monday through Friday.   They are distributed outside. The pantry is operating outside with only one individual at a time able to select food handled only by volunteers.  No more than 5 can stand together.  We will try it this Friday and determine if we will move to pre-packaged bags or not.

Social Services is triaging clients at the gate. Food pantry, basic needs (i.e. toiletries & mail) They have pre-packed groceries for market customers. All client meetings will be done via phone. They are not completing any ACCESS applications at this time.

St. Matthew’s House Thrift Stores and Programs are open

Fort Myers Mobile Food Pantry Distribution – 3954 Broadway on Saturday March 28th at 10am until supplies run out

Harry Chapin Food Bank is open for operations. We are continuing to support agencies in our network as best we can with limited donations and volunteers.   As always, we do not serve individuals directly at our facilities.  Senior kit distributions are continuing unchanged. Some distribution sites may close, and timing may shift. Clients should check our website for updates.  Our mobile pantries are operating normally right now, with adjustments to protect participants from infection. Mobile pantries will transition soon to a drive-thru model distributing kits of shelf-stable items supplemented with fresh food as available.

SWFL Free Pain Clinic at this time, is still scheduling appointments for healthy individuals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 5pm. We do not take walk-ins. 239.307.7107 for appointments and eligibility.

Cape Vineyard Community Church will be doing our Thursday night food pantry and dinner church much differently. We will be going drive thru instead of inside and sit down. From 4:306:30pm guests will be able to drive thru our lines in the parking lot behind our church (the club square parking lot) to register and receive free groceries (open to all, once a month) as well as the Harry Chapin Care & Share groceries (open to those who meet the Harry Chapin requirements, once a month). They will also receive a delicious hot meal to-go style for each person in their household (no restrictions, available each week). We invite anyone and everyone in Lee County who needs assistance to come and receive it here, you do not have to go to this church to receive free groceries.

Leon County Public Schools – Grab-and-Go Lunches: Leon County Schools (LCS) is partnering with Second Harvest of the Big Bend food bank and the United Way of the Big Bend to help provide nutritious food for up to 10,000 food insecure Leon County school children during the COVID-19 pandemic school closures.

Orange:

RCS Pinellas distributes food via its food bank every week day. Individuals and families may utilize the service once per month due to supply shortage and will receive three to four days’ worth of food per household member. Conscious Discipline – Understanding Trauma Webinar Series – In support of COVID-19 response, this resource is available at no cost for 90 days. This 3-Part webinar series from Dr. Becky Bailey disrupts the cycle of trauma by bringing new awareness to our current trauma epidemic and building healthy, healing relationships through self-regulation, connection and resilience interventions that have the power to heal individuals, communities and generations of those who suffer.

Tampa Bay’s Local Transportation Service:

Hillsborough: HART continues to operate normal service with an enhanced disinfection regime, and will adjust service as needed based on changing conditions. If service is adjusted, advance notice will be provided to the public. If you are ill, please stay home.

Pinellas: PSTA is temporarily going fare-free on all routes until further notice due to the growing threat of COVID-19. PSTA requests use the back door to get on and off the bus, as an added safety measure.

PASCO: Transit on PCPT is free until further notice. Fare-free ridership assists customers experiencing financial hardship from the COVID19 closures, allowing riders to enter the back of the bus and helps drivers maintain CDC-recommended social distancing.

Manatee: MCAT vehicles underwent comprehensive sanitation procedure March 18th, which will continue twice a week until further notice to combat the potential spread of COVID-19. Vehicles will also be wiped down daily when not undergoing sanitation.

Hernando: Enhanced procedures have been enacted on TheBus, with buses cleaned and sanitized daily. Bus service continues as scheduled, but may be re-assessed as the COVID-19 situation develops.
